Air must be
compressed to be used as an energy source. It is compressed by reciprocal
or rotary machines known as compressors.
Compressed air is used in industry and the automotive sector, generally
at pressures of less than 10 bar.
Compressed air has many applications. Powering pneumatic tools is
one of the most common.
To enable the tools to be used effectively, the compressed air must
be distributed appropriately throughout the workshop.
All devices
must be fitted accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
