Injection-moulding machines

Connection of cooling circuits :

The high temperatures involved in plastic injection-moulding processes require constant cooling of the moulds used. Prevost has engineered a line of couplings dedicated to this application. These CPI couplings create tight seals between cooling water systems and are quick to connect and disconnect, thereby considerably reducing mould change times. Prevost's PREOL couplings meet the same requirements for oil.

Blowing

Air is often blown on freshly-moulded parts in order to remove them from their moulds. Prevost offers a complete range of blow guns for this very purpose. The temperature resistance of the 27102 models make them an excellent choice.

Conveyance of fluids

Two different fluids are needed around injection-moulding machines: water for cooling and air for blowing. Prevost's range of LOCKFLEX hoses is recommended for both. Available in two colours (blue for cold and red for hot), they have the particular advantage of fitting over our special splicers without the need for an AF clamp and withstanding high surrounding temperatures.
